Hi, I’m Julia.

I am a yoga teacher originally from Sweden, now based in London. I have practiced yoga for more than 11 years and been teaching for 3 years.

I started my yoga teacher journey in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic teaching elite gymnasts how to breath, relax and connect with their bodies during those stressful times. It sparked some more curiousity and I ended up teaching them yoga regularly as a part of their preparations for international competitions.

I did my first teacher training with Dr. Paul Dallaghan at Samahita in Koh Samui, Thailand. We focused on the importance of breath, much in line with his area of research, and the physical practice of “engaged dynamic asana”, a type of vinyasa with heavy inpiration from ashtanga.

My personal practice consists mainly of ashtanga, a practice which continiously challenges and inspires me. It is truly a moving meditation. I also practice dharma yoga, a Hatha-Raja practice that really allows me to have fun on the mat whilst always being challenged to go further.

I am forever grateful to my incredible teachers: Emi Tull, Cary Perkins and Echo Elliot, who are all superwomen that keep inspiring me every day!

My Approach

My teaching style is playful and lighthearted. To me yoga is something fun and I love seeing adults find their inner child again, as they’re attempting handstands, armbalances or a funky new transition.

You can expect lots of laughter in my classes, with a smidge of seriousness of course.
